Mariah Salm

Meet Mariah Salm, a 24-year-old from the heart of Brisbane, QLD Australia who has always felt a strong connection to nature. As a child, Mariahn was happiest outdoors, whether riding horses, spending time with animals, or playing in the ocean. This lifelong love of the natural world has now fueled her desire to make a difference.
Her career in the events and entertainment industry has given her a diverse skill set, and has now been called to the cause of marine conservation. She was inspired to join Miss Scuba Australia because she believes in the power of a pageant to challenge people's perspectives, not only about marine conservation but what you can achieve if you truely put your mind to it.
Mariah is a powerful advocate for animal conservation and pollution prevention, two issues she considers vital for protecting our planet's most precious resource. To anyone considering a future application, she offers this inspiring advice: "If you are passionate about making a change, never be scared to put yourself out there and give something new a go."
Kaylin Cutfield

Hailing from Perth WA Australia, 26-year-old Kaylin Cutfield has always embraced a life of diverse passions. Growing up, she immersed herself in acting, music, and sports, becoming a 2nd Dan black belt in Tae Kwon Do and a dedicated basketball player. Now, she channels her performing arts background into a career at Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary and in the screen acting and film industry.
Her decision to join the Miss Scuba Pageant 2025 was motivated by the chance to travel and connect with like-minded individuals, all while actively contributing to the fight for marine conservation. Her specific interests include coral reef restoration, restoring marine habitats, and the protection of sea turtles.
Kaylin encourages future applicants with this powerful message: "If you have a passion for raising global awareness about ocean and marine conservation, traveling to beautiful places and blending beauty with activism, working together to empower change then Miss Scuba Australia is for you!"

Samikshya Shestha
Miss Scuba Nepal
2025

Samikshya Shestha
Born in Nawalparasi, Nepal, Samistha is a 26-year-old nurse with a deep-seated passion for making a difference. From a young age, she found joy and discipline in dance and modelling, but coming from a small middle-class family, these dreams felt out of reach. Today, she proves that no matter where you come from, it's never too late to chase your dreams and make them a reality.
Her journey to the Miss Scuba Pageant is a unique one; coming from a landlocked country, diving has opened up a whole new world for her. She is using this platform to inspire others and raise awareness for the critical cause of marine conservation. Her primary focus is on protecting coral reefs and marine life, which she believes are crucial to the health of our planet.
For those considering applying, she offers this heartfelt advice: "Be genuine and passionate. Miss Scuba is not only about beauty, but about using your voice to create awareness for marine conservation. Be yourself, prepare with dedication, and remember that the crown represents a responsibility to inspire and make a difference.”
